I’m struggling with this novel. The translation quality and the pace of the novel is great. But my issue is the FL. Now this is just me personally, others might love her personality but I find her boring and a little too clinical. I like faults in a character, just enough for them to seem relatable and this FL is just too perfect, which makes her bland for me. I can’ connect to her emotionally and that frustrates as I was looking forward to this one. But when you’re enjoying and connecting more with the side characters more than the FL, you can kinda tell this novel won’t be for you. I was hoping for more to happen round her family, especially after reading the summary and her family is still nothing more than of a footnote 200 chapters in. It’s lucky if we get more than 2 paragraphs of an interaction after the 50 chapter mark. We get a lot more of the friendship and career aspect rather than family so I found that disappointing. I probably continue but it’s not a novel I’ll be unable to put down and lose sleep over. But not bad if you need something to put in the time.

you know something I had started reading this a while ago and I had not really remembered how little we learned about the family so when I went to complete reading it for the most latest free read I was very annoyed with how little she seemed to interact with her family or asked them for help when they're very clearly capable she has seven brothers one of which is absolutely useless yes but she has her businessman brother and her criminal mafia twin brothers and she never interacted them or asking for help or talks to them about stuff like it's clear to have some idea of what's going on but she doesn't talk to them and so she runs into problems and then I guess it's attempt to make her independent or make the story more about her they just never seem to be aware of the issue she has it's only one is convenient for the plot because whenever she doesn't really need them they seem to know everything but when she does need them and let's be really honest they should have more experience than she does in some of these things all of a sudden they're blind they don't know something happened they don't even know their sibling is kidnapped there she's letting people go right left in center her family gives her advice on whether or not to be just kind to people and she just lets it go blah blah this girl gave away a whole company because she refused to actually use the resources she had in her siblings
