I lasted till chapter 5 then gave up. The plot is actually pretty good but the writing is just too bad. Let's forget about the usual mistake he/she/his/her, the ML's name even goes from Li Yan to Li Qun back and forth, without any explanation. Sometimes, it's Li Yan one line, then next sentence we are back to Li Qun and you are supposed to understand it's the same person. The bad translation makes it very difficult to actually understand what's going on. The way sentences are written doesn't always make sense and I often had to re-read the same sentence several times to understand. Does the translator even respect the readers? Is it so difficult to have someone else beta-read the novel to provide the readers with a good book? How can anyone expect readers to pay for something like this? I really don't know what Webnovel is doing --'

Probably đ§ They still could have re-read the translation. There are people on the Internet who provide free MTL novel after they have done some work on the translation to make it clean. Since it's not free here, they could have at least check it đĄ ... To be honest, I'm kind of p*ssed. It's not the first time Webnovel does something like that but I feel like it happens more and more now.

It's not surprising. With the number of new novels they're putting out, they probably can't sustain quality translations. As for getting angry... It depends on what your expectations were. I expected the worst so đ¤ˇââď¸ I do wish they'd own up and *say* that they're using MTL (if they are - and if they're not, they need to train their translators).
