well, I am not gonna lie, this novel has immense potential, but the past 10 or so chapters have been less then desirable. The Mc seems to have regressed inside of progressing, he seems to have lost his edge and is not making best of decisions. I used to enjoy reading this, like a lot but now it doesn't feel the same, the starting chapters are great, but at current pace the story is going towards its ruin, and the author also doesn't seem to be taking any criticism or he just flat out ignores the comments, many people seem to have been voicing their but have been ignored, so I don't think that he plans to improve, so I would say that read it casually, but don't get invested into it, you might get disappointed.

well, to be honest the Mc doesn't seem to as smart as he used to be at the start of fic, like he was able to manipulate zuko and suki without mu h problem, he was able to become so much stronger in much less time, but it all ended when fire nation arc began, like Mc just sat in a room and did nothing. I don't have a problem with not leveling fast, no, but I do have a problem with him getting pushed around, like he is strong, ridiculously so, but he insists on 'hiding' it, which is a fairly overused and annoying Troupe and just anyone is pushing him around. and the sudden change in his morals, at the start he was just trying to off the avatar, and he went from doing that to being a assistant to Azula, truly a massive character development if I say so myself(I am being sarcastic btw). And lack of action also doesn't help. like Mc seems to simp so hard for suki, azula and yue, like why, he is good as he can, why ruin it.

it's to prevent unnecessary conflict. If I went through the route of beating everyone who says anything bad, I'd end up making a rash and thoughtless character who doesn't think of the consequences. Not only that, but using my thought process, I would manage to make the MC the enemy of the entire world (though it would be interesting). He'd become Aang's enemy because he'd kill some people, he wouldn't be able to make some connections because of his 'rash and thoughtless' personality. But I understand what you mean, I'll try to make him a character who isn't a pushover. I'll also start including his thoughts so you don't think he's not really planning anything.
