I really didn't see anything wrong with the way it was written. Could you possibly give an example? Just curious.

the story would describe things from a first person perspective. but then the author would replace I with he putting it into a third person perspective creating a conflicting perspective in the story. any native English speaker would find that very irritating to read. and no I'm not going to dig for a specific example from the story. because one I don't care that much and I'm too lazy. I also don't know how you didn't notice it because it's very hard not to notice that.

I mean i only read 2 chapters and dropped the story shortly afterwards as it didn't interest me in the slightest.

Not if you swap between first and third due to getting the words wrong in the same sentence, it's like those novels that get he and she wrong where you end up scratching your head trying to figure out what gender the one speaking is when it changes every few words.
