The way the description portrays it, the wife didn't cheat on him. She cheated on the dead guy who's skin he's wearing and he just happened to be dropped into the corpse at the wrong time. Still not sure I'll read it since you can already predict that her family was likely held hostage or something similar by the use of 'truth'. Maybe if the twist is something else it will feel new.

Yeah, not quite what I thought but somewhat similar. The wife's family is about to be destroyed by an enemy so she cuts ties/drives away the MC so he doesn't die with them.

she didn't actually cheat she pretended so the mc would hate her and leave her family since it was about to be destroyed by someone they angered.

Don't listen to this misleading comment, if the truth about his wife comes from nowhere then my reaction would've been the same, but it's been told since chapter 1 that she's not cheating. If you can even handle it, then it can't be helped, snowflake.
