Review Detail of megnut in Under the Oak Tree

I got into webcomics and webnovels a lot over 2020 (like many of you probably). This is definitely one of the best. I ended up buying the original on Ridibooks and translating as MTL (definitely not ideal but honestly if you get used to it this story actually translates pretty well using Google Translate) So I really jumped at the chance to see it translated properly. This translation is really impeccable too, the flow is fantastic. If you're crazy like me you might end up re-reading UtOT MULTIPLE times. Maximilian is such a fantastic FL and you really want to root for her and her struggles, meanwhile Riftan is a interesting and flawed character in his own right the more his character is explored. This story doesn't shy away from the more realistic sides of relationships, including when things get ugly. These are two broken people who slowly grow for each other and themselves. And as good as our two leads are, there are many interesting side characters to back them up as well (Ruth SERVES). BTW, probably some of the better written r18 you'll see in a novel like this (I'm a lesbian and didnt find it cringe at all). Kim Suji created a real gem here and I look forward to where it goes! Not only did the author come back from a long hiatus to continue writing volume 2, but the English translation is at a part in the story when the action is really starting to pick up!!!
