I think it makes sense. Basically, it’s that it’ll be harder to level up with higher stats, so if you keep them low until you need them, your overall strength will be higher. He wouldn’t get anything from sparring his friends if he could already beat his dad.

Well, I don't know where is the balance. Some people complain that MC depend on his system too much, some people complain that MC is the slave to the system.
