I guess that's it for me, it's a long journey but I'm dropping here. I used to love this novel very much and can't wait for the next chapter to come. But it became stale once the MC became someone whom nobody dares to provoke. I feel like he became the kind of person that I hate in other novels. The rich and powerful that forces other people to die just for a minor issue, he has become like the villain in other novels lol. I'm not saying the Vast Sky Emperor is innocent since he really deserve to die, but the MC's character is not consistent anymore. With how his character changed from the previous massacre, he is not like the person he is before. (Read my comment in the previous chapter) I guess people do change when they become powerful.

I feel it's hypocritical, just a way to console himself. If he wanted to spare them, he should spare all innocent, or else, he should just kill them all. Sparing some and killing some is just weird to me. Imagine a 4-year-old girl, happily playing in the backyard, then she was suddenly killed because her parents were mocking Davis. Why can a 2-year-old child be spared but not a 4-year-old child? Why can they be alive just cause they were born a little late? It's the same to me really.

It is me or is that translation for this chapter weird? It's like someone who used google to directly translate the Chinese words to English without caring about grammar and proper English phrases.

Well, I don't know where is the balance. Some people complain that MC depend on his system too much, some people complain that MC is the slave to the system. This place complains that MC doesn't use the system. It is just like when I was in the army, the cookhouse gave us chicken drumstick for the meals, but people are complaining that there is not enough chicken breast for protein. I later found out that chicken breast was given in the past but people are complaining that there is no variety for the meals and ask for drumstick. Really, you can never satisfy everyone.
