from the synopsis, I can gather that the mc is the kind of guy who will whine about not being involved with other characters but when the time comes will do the opposite while constantly whining about it. Not something I would love to read. If I am wrong in my assumption however, then please leave a comment and I would love to read a good otome game novel.

I don't think I have ever read a very good and satifying otome game male lead novel. They are all like this. Whining protagonist who doesn't want to get close to the main characters but does so anyway. Well, I can tell you what I have read even though it might be trash. On the top of my head, there are : 1. The tyrant doesn't want to meet a bad end(I think that is the name)- very trash, again with the whining protag and a lot of harem members. 2. The world of otome games is tough for mobs - this is the best one I have read. 3. The villaness and her zombie - average but sometimes below average. Those are all I can think of right now.
