It honestly feels like this whole 700+ chapter story could be condensed in 100-200 chapters. The main character is called the main character for a reason, there is too much focus on the side characters and the lore.

quite the contrary actually. it's just that most of the characters which are the main focus inside of most arcs are in fact way stronger than the MC that we know and love, although if you have dropped this book for this very same reason I suggest that you start reading again because me and multiple other people have commented and reviewed on this novel while stating the same things ( our prayers have in fact been heard ).
notist:Tbh I'm at 675, I think the author eff up this character by having 2 different bodies and sets of powers. We love to see more undead stuff but the MC is all over the place. It's been like a 100 chapters and he's still barely anywhere with this tournament. It's time to move on and do other things instead of having mini arc and trying to jam everything in between. I still don't understand his power well, his Null power is what? Seem like any random Street thug in that city is more powerful than him.
