How many chapters did you read? I strive to write something original regardless of the topic I choose and can guarantee that I'm not following any trend. Heck, I'm not even familiar with what's popular on the platform nowadays, just trying to write something I'm comfortable with. That said, maybe I'm rustier than I thought. After all, it has been a while since I stopped writing. All the more reason why I should spend some time to polish myself before resuming previous works. Any criticism you have to offer is welcome, and I will implement them to the best of my abilities.

Well the MC being the antagonist going against Protagonists has been a trend for a few years now and it is past it's peak popularity. If it is a coincidence then my bad, but with your previous works being so original and this part lining up with a trend past it's prime I thought you were milking it for what it had left. Though you do make a good point about not finishing things like Fleshcrafting Technomancer until your skills return. I'm not the best with my words and honestly I can't put it into proper words but I guess the biggest issue is the MC. Konrad and Killian were like shooting stars lighting up the sky as we watch them soar over our heads, Xinzhi feels more like a space shuttle making a crash landing on earth. Sorry that is the best I can give you, but the way they come off feels completely different.

That's fine. Just because you liked my previous works doesn't mean you will enjoy the future ones. That's natural, and I fully expected some backlash. That said, Konrad had 580 chaps of development, Kilian had over 120. Xinzi is a growing character—from a drastically different background— and will experience tremendous character development as the story progresses. I believe that down the road, he has the potential to be my best villain yet. If you feel that you can't give him a chance, I understand. But if you choose to stick around, I will do my best to make it worth the ride.

Author shouldn't take this seriously. Your writing is still great and on some levels better than before. Seems to me that the guy's rating only reflects his hopes for the stories in hiatus, not the story itself. Ain't no way that he read this and dropped a two on the merits of the story. More likely, they read the synopsis and skimmed through the first chapter. Then left a hate note. I recommend you don't try to reach out to your old readers, it might bring you more readers, yes, but it will also bring you people who just want you to continue previous works and are not interested in supporting this one. Unbiased feedback from new readers will help you more. Just my two cents.

You have a point but in saying he shouldn’t reach out to his old readers but also there are some that can understand can get pass their bias and support this novel.I’m talking about the loyal ones

I don't comment because I don't read. At least not anywhere near as much as I used to. I do leave reviews but they get deleted, so I stopped doing that as well. Just like you I saw the announcement, which is why I am here. With that said, I have nothing to prove and am not afraid of any keyboard warrior. Not simping, just stating facts.

Also if you are going to lie about not commenting I highly recommend you make up something believable, if you want someone gullible enough to believe that try going to a preschool as 3-4 year olds are the only ones that would buy such a thing. A more believable lie would have been 'I made this account long ago and lost the password to my main account'.

So it is a coincidence that you stopped commenting over a year ago, and it is also a coincidence that all your supposed reviews were deleted and it is another coincidence that your first comment in over a year is to start simping. When this many coincidences happen it is called a pattern and this pattern proves your lies. If you really weren't interested you wouldn't have stopped so low as to start simping here in the first place and kept your mouth shut from the beginning, so again that is another lie.

this guy should call me a fake reader too coz u won't find anything on my ac as well. but I support author san in his new endeavour. people need to move on and let others do the same too. profane Prince was thing in the past. and i didn't read the other one. nor do i wish to. it has hit pause for so much time, i doubt author will pick it up. and even if he does, I'll only resume after sufficient chaps are piled up. anyway. about this novel. it's a good start. I'll not draw comparison with anything in particular but it is better than most hard to understand novels out there. but wanted to ask, author san, why did u not use ur old ac to publish this title?
