3rd try, so I think I remember the problem with the story. The MC is basically a whiny b'ch through the whole thing because for the most part the author doesn't reaaally have a good story to tell. The MC is just going around and judging everyone through the lens of "everything is racism, slavery bad, biggot this biggot that" because there is no real story behind all of this and the author has to fill the story up somehow. So whiny b'ch MC and very cringe character interactions because the Author is a socially stunted individual whose personality was created by English TV and google news.
