On chapter 13, so halfway through at the time of me writing this review, and I’m gonna drop it right here. The story is following canon WAYYY too closely. I mean, literally 90% of the story stays the same, while like 10% is original. Also, the MC is just pathetic overall, not even being able to kill aliens who he just saw slaughtering humans.

These are not good times, people want blood, tin and spectacles. So if you want to write fan fiction, you need to write about a very cruel and bloodthirsty hero, a sociopath or a real psychopath. If you try to write something newer, lighter, well, the market is busy, I can't say that it will attract a large number of people.
