Review Detail of hungerpig in Epic of Ice Dragon: Reborn As An Ice Dragon With A System

Is there something wrong with me for wanting the mc to have a male companion? like out of 100s of novels there are like 10 non-female friends. The mc talks to himself too much. like he will give a 300-word essay on lone wolf bad and community good. It also has the " if I kill I will turn into a brainless been" which makes no sense. His body does not affect his mind so why does it matter(I wish it did. tree of aeon does it super well). Also, 80% of the story is him talking to himself and 60% out of 80% is filler aka nothing or things you know (the pov might add to it) Literally, no effort has been put into the power system and is boring but that can change (highly unlikely).
