This is not a review This is a question - I have just started to read this novel nd I want to ask how can he manipulate blood in an insect when they don't even have that? Or is every liquid in an organism is considered blood?

Insects definitely do not have blood. They have hemolymph, which is not the same as blood.

Disfigured:insects do have blood, they just lack haemoglobin due to which their blood is not red in colour
