*I read the first few parts of the "Legendary Mechanic", and I'm telling you it's nowhere near that. *My concept is about an NPC becoming a villain. *I am adding fairy tale characters in my novel. If I am copying things, I may be copying those old fairy tales. Since they don't have any copyright (i think) it's safe to modernized their stories. *My reference is Detroit become human. I am not copying their story, but I am implementing new plotlines for the novel.

Sad so say your 'review' right here isn't even close to the exact meaning of it. Disliking a concept is NORMAL but there are tons of other ways to say it in order not to offend a person. If you think its not original and deem it EASY to think of story plots, then do your own story and stop putting one star 'reviews' on novels just because you don't like their concept. If it is not into your taste, then its easier to just click the back button unless you, yourself has the mental capacity to write a well-written reviews saying the pros and cons with the reasons. By the way, Im the illustrator of this novel and I can tell you one thing... THE NOVEL IS DONE WITH EFFORT AND LOTS OF RESEARCH IF YOU HATE IT THEN DO A CONCEPT YOU LIKE AND GET A LIFE!

Character that are part of the public domain are completely free to use and monetize. For instance, you can have Snow White in your story. However, you cannot have Disney's version of Snow White, and no Grumpy, Sleepy or the other 5 dwarfs. A typical example of this would be Snow White and the Huntsman, or The Irregulars, the color blind auditioning woke modern take on Sherlock Holmes
