If you prefer all those other trashy novels out there with crisis coming one after another and the main character somehow surviving the crisis and getting some treasure, be my guest and you can just go on with all those other cliché novels out there. If you're like me who's tired of all those random situations thrown at the main character for no reason then this is the novel for you.
I read the mtl, he does choose option 1 like this one time but only when he's able to one-shot everything.

Why take risks when you can grow stronger by avoiding danger? That's just... du- I mean... UNNECESSARY. It's like when someone offers you "100 Dollars but you need to jump into a pit of venomous snakes and stay there for an hour" or "1000 Dollars and you just need to cultivate and avoid danger" but you chose the 1st option.
