correct me if I'm wrong but I'm so disappointed in this platform that I think the TLs just changed the word Chinese to English to appeal to the global audience. They did it before by changing the mcs names to English in pilot reads.

I don't know why but the author was struggling between english and chinese, the name of the empire was in chinse in some chapter but then english in some hahaha! Maybe he was confused to admit that he is westerner in disguise.😂😂😂

Yeah basically what they've been doing is porting chinese novels into the united states/english. This both appeals to more of the world (globally speaking) and makes it harder to find what the raws are. So you kinda have to guess what the real title might be based on the fake webnovel title. The plot thickens....

You are actually correct since the other novel of this guy that he turned western version, Animal assassin group, the RAW was originally supposed to be Chinese and there wasn't any bullshit of 10 chapters build up and then proceeds to face slaps them and kills them

well not really, in some chapter they say there is another rune system that look a like chinese scriptures (mc deduce it) and only a handful have mastered it. The first powerful men in the world is said to have mastered only one rune not in english to be ranked at the top. So english for commoner, chineses for true powerhouse.

that doesn't make sense.....also it shouldn't be westerner but easterner you mean as it seems more like trying to disguise Chinese in English but messed up as that usually how it is and often disguised as.....lot of CN are like that.
