Review Detail of TaintedMetal in Destined Sovereign

This is a new novel, and I can see the potential of the ideas implemented here. The synopsis does give out an engaging plot. Unfortunately there's a lot of things that need to be covered here. First there's the major issue regarding the story and the writing. Everything is extremely fast pace in the beginning. I was thrown right into the action, there was barely any build up, and there wasn't enough information about the protagonist that makes me want to pay attention to him. I have seen this writing style before, and I think it's best that you, author, need to structure in an order to provide a path for the reader, then once that's done you could twist and turn the path as much as you want, but make sure every paragraph can connect to each other. Are there things happening in the story? Yes there are, but many of them felt disconnected, and I'm quite confused about the direction this novel wants to go in. When it comes to the world in the story, I want to say it's urban but there's not enough information to tell me what kind of setting this novel is in exactly. Second concerns the characters, they need a lot of work, especially Xin An and the supposed villain. They need to be flesh out, or rather they need moments of their own, to know their character better, because I do see them get involved in action scenes but it doesn't really give much about their personality. One thing that really needs to be revised here. Grammar. Some choices of words or structure of sentences felt offputting to read, and there was so much telling. This is the best review I could give author, considering you have steady updates. I know you can do better, so I recommend you look back at these points and try to fix the chapters bit by bit. I like the ideas here, it's the execution that needs attention. Good luck and keep on writing.
