Why is this so highly rated? It's a joke of a story. I admit in the comments I was wrong as I thought he would forgive the wife who betrayed him but next chapter you find out he doesn't and it is still revenge etc. This is good as his conviction isn't changed so fcking easily. What has acc pissed me off is the nerf. If you wanted to nerf him make him recover slower than he did because what happened has to be the most stupid sht I have ever read and that's saying a lot. I am acc baffled at how stupid it was. He regained his powers to 1% of his max powers in one month? So all he has to do is wait rly, just wait till he regains more of his powers to have some backing to do what he wants. What does this supposedly ancient god-king do? Atk the celestial plain and fight the current god-king at 1%. Destroying all his veins, body, burning his sources etc and then giving them his blood that they can use to acc kill him. I am shocked absolutely mind blown at how stupid this was. How the acc fck is nobody else commented on any of this?

Thanks for the criticism... readers who didn't comment about this read farther than you did.. you only read about 10 - 15 chapters before writing this review so of course you'd think it's a joke of a story. Sometimes stupid decisions that result in Nerf is absolutely necessary for character development. Of course you wouldn't know this either since you probably already dropped. I'm only replying this comment for readers who might have the same thoughts as you.
Mate, there are other things but I didn't mention them. This was the main reason... I'm cbf to write a massive ass page explaining what else I didn't like about the story. At least this review has mentioned my thoughts and gives people an idea on what the book is about instead of the plastic five stars saying nice nice nice nice

That is true however them desitions for me have to make at least some sense that I want to carry on and not wait for another 20 chaps for some magical answer/reason. Like I get why you nerfed him as it wouldn't be much of a story if he comes in and recks everything from the get-go. However, the way you went about it was done was very poor (to me). From all the facts you gave about the mc, logically it makes absolutely no sense for how you nerfed him... It was just such a mess that It killed it for the story. I don't want to wait for another 20 chapters for an excuse when it just purely didn't make sense in the first place. (from the info given) This shows I can expect it to happen often if it has already happened so yeah... Guess you can call it impatient and just want some logic the writing. I guess I was a bit harsh in the review as from the synopsis and high stars I liked the idea of the story and was getting invested in the idea of the character and for what happened it disappointed me immensely leading to the harsh words.

I also understand what you mean by poor execution... at the time of starting this novel I was still a newbie author but after reading back I noticed my mistakes and believe me when I say it gets better the more you read. I didn't want to restructure because a lot of people read the previous chapters already so I turned those mistakes into better scenarios in the future chapters which is the reason for high ratings. It's still up to you if you wanna continue reading or not but if you decide to keep reading you won't be disappointed because you will notice the improvements.

you should rewrite imo i dont read past the first 2-3 chapters if they are bad because the story eventually gets better
