i really liked it initially as the mc got cool powers but mc remains stupid through and through. He always overestimates himself and gets into critical situations and also places others in danger because of his stupid and idiotic decisions. The stories with idiot MC's are the type i hate the most.

LIKElordseven:he gets more cautious and low key in book 3, although he is still emotional from time to time. I guess that's one of the traits that define him.
MikeWright:Bro, not bro, why give 1 star review if the only problem is the character development? Be more mature in your critiques skill or it'll only make misunderstanding. Sheesh
Exactly why reviews were made. For you and you only. I guess it isnt for what the whole story is abot, i guess. It’s just about the MC’s stupid progresss. Sure, webnovel creator.
Mandiiyy:what reason i state will depend on me bro who are you to tell me off.
Personally I think the Mc is intelligent and quite frankly realistic. He suddenly gains powers as a teenager and is growing up, learning and making mistakes while finding himself and what kind of person he is. I'm tired of the novels where the MC gains powers randomly and that makes them a ruthless genius with no character growth.
Your say his emotions are kept to a minimum while another person says he get very emotional from time to time; lordseven (I think that’s what his name is called) says otherwise…so which is it
Daoist845071:well you must remember that mc is a 18 year old school drop out with zero knowledge about how people with power behave and suddenly got thrown into the storm. so give him some slack because later he becomes cautious and calculative with very minimal emotions(plot reasons)
It depends on how old they are, if it's an adult they are supposed to have a pretty advanced character development, they should already be careful, intelligent, and a bit ruthless, because even in real life, you will find at 18 years old people like that or even worse, so why would it be different in a novel?

I disagree, because unless you are a psychopath, it takes alot of character change to kill someone purposefully. Plus, what world you are living in that all adults are automatically intelligent, cunning and ruthless?

The adult world, the world of work to be precise and also the world of the poor :/ of course they are not all cruel and cunning but ruthless? They are adults lol they are if it's in their interest

I agree, but it's a completely different thing to translate that ruthlessness into basically killing people with their own hands, and being personally ruthless. Especially when their own life becomes at risk.

Yes I agree, I don't question what you say, I even think it's completely stupid, because for me it's resorting to the ease of killing to achieve one's goals and being mean without any reason, without any grievance that could justify this meanness, for me it's even more immature, it's like giving power to a teenager or a child

18 is nothing but a child still. Your still mentally growing till 25 that’s when you become a filled out, more smarter, stronger version of yourself. 18 being called an adult is just on paper, I personally think and everyone I talk about it with agree that 25 is the true time your really are an adult.
