Completely agree with you. I dropped this thing the moment he concluded the sect deal. Don’t know how people can’t see through this generic cultivation trash. Heck this novel would be the sh*t if they focused on completing deals in a xianxia world instead of the generic stuff. Even though the contracts have no binding power which is strange, but meh the so called story needs this to progress. I blame the author for bad writing.
