I am reading MTL and I am currently on chapter 130. I was quite disappointed that webnovel didn't immediately translate this novel but after reading ahead, I think I understand. The most frustrating thing about the novel is that the ML and FL don't ever talk about anything important. They each do their own thing until the other either finds out from another source or doesn't find out at all. This has made their romance to have no depth at all. The FL is timid and even though she fights back sometimes, she is still not strong enough. In the same vein, the ML is also not strong and domineering enough. The novel is also hard to understand sometimes because everything seems all over the place. All I can say is that the novel feels like a plateau and is mostly stale.

I have finally dropped it at chapter 160. The 'no communication' problem has become chronic. Things that could be easily solved with one conversation have been allowed to affect their marriage time and again. The FL is so concerned with proving that she doesn't really care if the ML cheats that she allows her brain to overlook matters that show that he would never while choosing to focus on irrelevant matters that don't make sense. After so many chapters, there is no character growth and none of them seem to want to take any step forward. In the end, the book is a waste of time.
