I was originally intrigued by the synopsis, as it was done in our world. However, after reading the initial 40 chapters I have come to the conclusion that this book was utter ****. I could have lived with the fact that this was so full of cliche's, the thing I could not accept was the blatant racism and constant dialogues stating china is the best and everything else is ****. It's okay to have national pride as everyone is proud of their countries and their traditions. Nobody except the Chinese can stomach this ****.

Even some Chinese can't dude. Authors do this kind of crap hoping the government will do free promotion for them/have the government approval no matter what kind of **** they put into the novel. Authors aren't allowed to talk even slightly bad about China, or RIP their novel. The contrary also happens, if they mindlessly praise their government, maybe they get recommended and all.

The bad thing about this is not really praising China but the fact that they dumb down or stereotype the other nationalities. I generally "accept" a level of racism from these type of novels because they are aimed at a different reader based.

am not surprised but from what i've seen so far, it seems that it little too far but aya it what it is, on another note original fantasy novels like chrysalis or supreme lord shapeshifter(through this starts of where it has different power systems and forces with interesting developments is good if you want something original and interesting with a bit of that and a bit this but overall it's hard to hate it just cuz it doesn't go the way you expected but aya it's how life be like............................ right??????????????
also i just remembered this amazing hidden gem that i didn't includes which is called the "Main character hides his strength" and i know it sound simple and cliche with a same old happy go mc in a fantasy world but this is dark af with an interesting plot that slowly reveals it self with op mc but he an't for no reason and is the opness is well balanced but you're probably reading this not understanding a single thing said and thinking am promoting another dude's novel( which i am cuz why not) but who cares(probably a certain someone)
Honestly it gets worse the further in you get this is just beyond the pale. It's stereotypes to the extreme left and right and takes half the reading of each chapter to reiterate that. the MC is better than everyone else. I usually enjoy cultivation novels but this was nails on a chaulkboard irritating . Subtle as Truck Kun.
