This is a novel by the same author of King of Gods. Traditional cultivation novel, but in general the author does it well and in a enjoyable way. It would be nice if this novel was chosen, and not those with nationalism / racism, or even retarded ones like MGA, ATG, MP etc.

I don't consider MGA retarded, but it is pretty d*mn repetitive. Got boring for me after a while (that's a lie, I read 3000 chapters before catching up to translation and finally dropping it. But first CN for me, so I have an excuse). Against the Gods though, is a killer novel. Big harem ftw, no retardation there, only veiled horniness.

I read ATG up to the tournament arc where his first wife was about to marry the Moon God. I had caught up to the translation and I couldn't be bothered waiting for more chapters so I dropped it... I swear out of all the novels I've read, I've dropped most or caught up to translation and then dropped it... I've probably only finished at most like 5 stories...

No worries, I caught up to the translation before that part. And like you, I fell out of the routine and couldn't be bothered to keep reading.

Same... I always said about how sh1tty is MGA but in the end, I still waste my time to go and read it for thousands of chapter just to drop it...

MGA also my first if i read it now (other than the first couple arks) i might feel differently about it but 🙃 as far as my current thoughts greatest CN ever next MW of course

newvelaric:You have my vote on that! There are too many Cultivation novels who just seem to focus on nationalism and racism!
Martial god asura was one of my first chinese novels along with Against the Gods. Dropped both because I couldn't stand the protagonists of either novel after awhile. Especially MGA, have no idea what happened after the first few hundred chapters lol. My very first cn was Doluo Dalu I think or Coiling Dragon in 2014/15. Loved them half way to death and never finished them =_=. I drop novels left and right lol
