I may enjoy a cold and evil MC, but there are several problems: 1st this is way beyond, I’ve read untill chapter 233 and he was the worst person in the whole novel, he is a complete sociopath 2nd his personality is completely flat, he is like a robot, completely devoid of emotions, and incredibly boring. It gets tiring having a psycho MC if he never makes you laugh 3rd and most important: the MC can be a total sociopath, but when the author tries continuosly to justify his choices with some cheap logic and a ridiculous view of the world that can be easily destroyed by anyone with a bit of common sense... well... that’s when u break the limit, if u want a spycho MC fine, but don’t try to make readers take his side as if he could be justify. He can’t and his logic is ridiculous and full of holes. I could go on, but, honestly it’s not worth it. I just add a last thing: the system of the nobles doesn’t make any sense, there is no wolrd were it could work it’s completely idiotic. Even if 99.9% of nobles are complete idiot that decides to keep any resource and technique for themselves there is bound to be someone who does not, and this someone would easily gain power, since it’s been clearly shown that there are countless genius among common people and just providing them the techniques would easily surpass all other powers that have an extremely low number of members die to their idiotic system. It’s impossible that a system that allows less than 1% of the population to cultivate with proper resources can go on for long, since granting proper techniques to common talented people would easily allow to create a way bigger force and it’s impossible that no one ever tried.

I have read it till 875 and dropped because that was the latest chapter back then. the system u talking about is completly possible. it's like ios.they have complete monopoly over their os so they can sell their iphone at anyprice they feel like. it's the effect od having complete monopoly over a thing. next example is diamond.u thing diamond are costly and rare.no.people are controlling it's flow to the market so we give more money to buy a stupid stone. he was not normal in the beginning I agree.but always loved his mom.he wasn't a psycho.any one he killed is only for his own safty.he never killed anyone for the sake of killing. the only time he killed someone is when he experimented on slaves to create a new technique for him. he fall in love with a women and adore her.he have a female friend and a male friend of his age group. he has an organisation on his back.many people that support him and fight for him and wise versa. basically u never read that much to actually say something as a review. exept for the fact he is detached from human moral from the beginning,this story is a dime. atleast till 850ish or so chapters

I've just started reading so I can't comment on the rest but a system where nobles monopolize techniques is completely possible. The nobles are held in check by peer pressure because the second they give any info to commoners they'll be ganged up on by every single other noble, no matter how fast they grow or how strong they are they can't compete with every noble clan at once. First of all they have no incentive to do it because there's no way the commoners would be loyal to them after gaining power and they'll be destroyed just like the rest of the nobles. If any info leaks then anyone who comes into contact with it is eliminated, normal people can't compete with the information gathering power of cultivators. It's a pretty airtight system all in all. The only way to break it is the one-in-a-million chance that someone gives a technique to a very small group of commoners who train in total secret and one of them is so talented he becomes stronger than every other noble clan. Even if that does happen after he dies the commoners with more power would start restricting knowledge for benefits again and another noble system would rise.
