Review Detail of Sycamore in The Last Child of Darkness: The Winter Night

Writing Quality: It's pretty decent. No typos, no grammar issues. Probably. I don't remember any glaring ones. 5 stars. Stability of Updates: Sometimes this author updates daily, sometimes he goes 10s of days without updating, as far as I can tell. Pretty sporadic. But I guess there aren't months between single chapters. I want to give it a 3 star, but I also want to give the author a higher rating. 4 stars. Story Development: The first few chapters, it seems like it's gonna be a rehash of Percy Jackson with a OP observer protagonist. Ew. However, after the first few chapters, that gets better. I was going to rate it 3 stars at first, but now since I like where it's going, 5 stars. Character Design: The description of the protagonist itself is edgy. Everything from his appearance to his backstory is edgy. He's also OP. Oh well, at least his personality isn't like, a self-pitying retard. You know those types. Overall, I think the protagonist is pretty decent. The author was also pretty good at writing Percy and Annabeth in, they weren't complete side characters. World Background: Percy Jackson. It's literally all the events of Percy Jackson. Aunty Em's Emporium was there, Echidna and the St Louis Arch, Ares and the Tunnel of Love... but it's pretty tastefully done. They don't all have the exact same resolutions, the dialogue for sure isn't the same. I like it. I really like it. 5 stars.
