Misleading title and genre tags, below average product. The writing quality is average at best - readable but with lots of mistakes. Updates are slow. Story is average at best, but too much Asian cliches of family love and care, too much of mutual respect and bond between high and low status people on the base of ... nothing. Main Character being overpowered is a common trope, but there should be a reason for it - even if a bad one, here is none. Characters are there, but feeling like cardboard target in a shooting range, it's not big deal if they were missing. The world is average compared to other novels, but lack building and explanation - basically - if you have read other MMOrpg novels, you should know it, which is a bad move in my opinion. Won't recommend, unless really bored or just wish to support the author.

What's misleading?

In the novel Title there is "Medieval", coupled with the beautiful image of European medieval full plate armor and I thought it would be related to that time period. It may only mislead me, but at least that's how I connected the dots. Yet, it's a typical game-world, with no actual "medieval" part, as the lore in the game is far from actually any country, just the typical fantasy trope. Actually, the demons are portrayed as in the popular Japanese manga and anime, far away from any old cultural references. I saw after I've written my review that you also are the author of two other novels and are for sure pretty busy. Thanks for your reply. Hope that you improve your skills in writing and have success in that field - if that's what you aim for.

Oh that, it's a Western Fantasy type novel, a medieval type one to booth, merely using chinese name though. It's a medieval fantasy novel, so, other than knights, there are mages, the one on the picture is what the MC would look like too. And it's international game, which combined both eastern and western medieval too. But the MC's story is part of the east, combined with western armors, etc. like those. Well, stopped this for now, on a hiatus until it's resumed.

Thank you for the clarification, but even despite the names it doesn't feel western, more like adaptation to the more common trope in the Asian countries as 'western'. The difference is huge, in most Anime/Manga you can see how "western" Demons are portrayed - basically smart, intelligent and with long time-span humans with horns on their head - which is far from how they are portrayed in western legends or literature. In Slav culture - demons and devils are vile creatures who enjoy to cause pain and suffering to the humans, in mid-European tribes demons are more of a trickery evil-does, who try to trick you heavily into a bad bargain, but still a very little chance of coming on top and very high risk for (usually) no reward. They do not like humans they hate them really bad and do everything in their power to make them suffer. To learn more about western weapons and armor - there are a lot of utube channels related to that - like Shadiversity, Scholagladiatoria, Metatron, Tod's Workshop and many others - most of them explain in their content about their knowledge and researches about those kind of stuff and other similar topics. Any novel-author should watch a lot of them, for the pure joy of it and to shorten their time of researches on different - related to medieval and fantasy genre topics. Also, if you are really into learning the art of martial arts - and how to properly present it, a lot of information about it can be found in a martial-art coach channel who goes by the name of Ramsey Dewey, MMA trainer in Shanghai who has a lot of videos talking about martial arts, miss-approach by the general auditory about the Chi and Tai Chi compared to it's real usage and value etc.
