For harem: I'm ambivalent more thoughts below For Romance: It depends on how you want the MC's character development to go, will he begrudgingly become a hero as he forms connections with the good guys or will he be more of an antagonist/villain like character? If the former sure go for it could be interesting although this is more vanilla, if the latter then still maybe go for it if that's the story you want to tell however it's important to write this right because stories where female hero's hook up with a villain MC and just loses their personality and morals are really boring and kind of pointless.

Is the chapter the joke or just the "The End" line I'm very confused because I kind of liked where the story seemed to be going and this whole chapter felt like a major shift in tone and story...

I think the issue is if rudy and eris get teleported somewhere else that means logically everyone else also gets teleported randomly... This has huge ramifications like people who died surviving and people who lived dying and certain people wouldn't meet like with rujeird or slyphy and the princess. If you have a concrete idea of what you want to do and where you'd want to take the story then thats great but I think it could quickly become overwhelming and confusing if you change things without think of the consequences.
