This story was interesting. How the setting/background were describe, one can vividly visualize the place and its surroundings. With regards to the characters, the author created their emotions with such intensity and clarity. There's just one thing I've noticed, one the way to narration and dialogues were put up, there should be spaces to seperate the lines of each characters, so as it won't be a bit confusing. But, all in all, it was a good start. Keep it up!
I wanted to read further after the first chapter, but I can't willed myself not to write my review first judging solely at one chapter. The suspense, thrill, the fear of Lilith, the cruelty of the she-devil... My God! They were perfectly, as in perfectly, gripping and very hooking. I loved the vivid description of the background, as if I was there in that same ground as Lilith was. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST FANTASY NOVEL I HAVE DARED TO READ! It captured me right at the first chapter, even though I am not a fan of fantasy novels. I was in awe, speechless and intrigue... All at the same time with just a single chapter. You did a great job here, Ms. Author. You deserved a round of applause! Excellent! I'll add this to my list of stories at my library.
The prologue itself, I was already lost of words. The way the background/setting was described, the creator did an excellent job of bringing me at the character's world as if I was really there. The first two chapters were greatly executed as well. The tension and emotions on th fl was remarkable, so precisely spot on. Then came the ml, her knight with a golden bow, rescuing her from being ripped apart by a wolf. Their meet was breathtakingly intense, yet astonishing. I love how the story goes. If there was one thing I could correct with this story, was how the way the quotations were done. The fl talking or thinking inside her mind, the quotation should be single ( ' ), not double ( " ), to prevent confusion on readers. But all in all, this would go a long mile given the stability and frequency of updates. Great start!
This story was by a far a very enticing and gripping one. I loved how Alex, who was once a weakling turned out to be a much stronger person, I am just worried how he would control his wrath amongst his enemies, knowing how much he craved for vengeance. I hope he would let this newfound power of his, overruled his heart. I loved the title, it suits the main lead's character. The world background was described with precision and very imaginative, easy to read and to visualized. Such a compelling story. A must read, esp. for fantasy fanatics. Continue updating though, this would go a long way.
With all honesty, this was my first time to read such story. A mixture of classic with a pinch of urbanism, that I didn't knew could be a good combination. From the background which was in full details, I can actually vividly visualize the place where Maya grew, as if I was here. The emotions were there, I could feel the sadness of Maya and her hopes to succeed. Keep on updating, the story is promising.
