Quite honestly, I didn’t expect you to reply at all. This took me by surprise. Haha. Anyway, I am considering your recommendations, especially the joke/comedic parts. I love raw human interactions the most, that’s why. Makes me all giggly and stuff. And speaking of regressors, transmigrators, being isekai’ed, and whatnots… I am absolutely tired of them so it is safe to say that these three wouldn’t pop up in this story at all. No fan service either. And especially no harem. In the first place, this is a high fantasy. To be specific, it is a medieval-inspired world. And I wanted it to be nostalgic with a bit of romanticism here and there. Just a simple story with simple and easy to follow conflicts but with complex characters. This is the goal and I really am nervous if I could even pull this off at all. So wish me luck, I guess? It is getting too long so I’ll cut it short. It is already 9:44 p.m. as I am writing this and I still haven't finished editing chapter 6. I am following the Chekov’s Gun, that’s why. Honestly, I joined WSA–2024, not that I have any hope of winning. After all, it started in January and I just joined now with over four months late already. He is someone who DEFINITELY has good intentions, but he does things in morally questionable ways. He doesn’t hesitate to kill if needs to. [2] Mystery: Despite being the one who “technically” created this world, the conflict, and the characters in it, being the writer and all, he doesn't really know everything. After all, he only wrote until the rising action and even he, the author, doesn’t know how his story would end. It doesn’t even have a title yet. (Refer to synopsis for more understanding.) [3] Action: Expect gang fights, church conspiracies, demon summoning, fights with the supernaturals, etc. [4] Transmigration: Mc (Kyle) transmigrated in Laurent’s body. A character fated to die. [5] Myth: You will come across various myths in this story. Myths passed down orally through generations. I don’t hate harem novels per se, especially those with nicely-written women whose personalities aren’t just physics-defying boobs with absurdly thin waists and worryingly low amounts of brain cells, just that I know I won’t be able to write a good harem novel. I sucked at it. I can’t even write a decent romance novel. SO DEFINITELY NO HAREM IN THIS STORY!! P.S. If you are expecting romance, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Even I, the author, don't know if this will have a romance in the future. There are characters I absolutely ship, to the point that I already created a bunch of cannons in my head, but I just don’t see them getting together in the actual story at all. No chemistry whatsoever. And if there will ever be a romance at all, then it will be an extremely slow burn one. THAT’S ALL. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK DOWN BELOW.
