I'm sure he is alive. He just has no pride in his work yo finish things he starts. That's the problem with WN they want to charge you a lot for reading a bunch of unfinished novels with no guarantee to ever see it completed.

love the story love the characters but dislike the author actions of abandonment or the update one chapter a month just to toy with readers I recommend go read Vampire's Slice of Life here on WN author updates daily one to two chapters daily. I would not recommend this novel unless you see updates regularly otherwise check this one out in about 10 years when maybe it will be complete 😉 😀
