1 Prologue

Max was a twenty-years old, average looking, middle-class boy. He was an introvert and only focused on his studies. Because of these reasons, he never had a girlfriend and was still a virgin. 

He had a friend, Jacob, a very handsome guy and the only son of a big business tycoon. 

The most beautiful girl in college was Alison, who Max liked a lot but never had the courage to talk to.

He knew he had no future with her, nevertheless, he couldn't stop liking her.

When Jacob found out about this, he encouraged him to pursue her and said that he would help him get close to her.

Max believed his best friend, and Jacob did help them meet many times, but as expected, Alison didn't show any interest in him.

Max wanted to stop chasing after her, but Jacob convinced him to try one last time on the camping trip in the forest.

However, on the camping trip, Max caught Jacob and Alison making out in the woods.

He was in disbelief. He couldn't understand why Jacob wouldn't let him give up on her and would always goad him to confess his feelings to her when he had already had a thing going on with Alison. Was it fun to see him behave like a fool? 

Max felt betrayed and angry.

He wanted to confront him but before he could go out from behind the tree he was hiding, a wild bear came from behind and before he could react, it bit his neck off, instantly killing him.

In his last moments, he wasn't afraid or anything. There was only one emotion that was regret. 

The regret of not being able to break Jacob's teeth before asking why he played him like a fool and betrayed his trust. 

However, his biggest regret was that he didn't get to experience what sex felt like. 

However, how would he have known that this end was merely the beginning of his true story?
