So I'm planning to take a break after this and write something else to refresh myself from this book. I think you should reread the chapter my dude. one, it was the son of the 'former' sealord, from a bankrupt family, which in braavos gold means everything. second, he was running from the iron bank, bringing gold that was supposed to belong to the iron bank and he was travelling with smugglers in the celtigars territory, if anything, he should be paid by the iron bank for returning back their money. your logic is like saying a country cannot catch a foreign money launderer that was actively hunted by the place in which he came from because he is not a citizen of the country.
