It's a saying to mean that no decision has been made on the subject. Basically saying that there's no proof Thor is a God and not just an alien that humans thought was a God
I don't believe so. In the comics, the first time Thor heard of one was when Venom took over his body. And in the MCU, a Klyntar hasn't been officially introduced yet so there hasn't been any mention of him knowing about them. I still need to research a little to see if Odin or Heimdall are aware of them, but if I can't find a definitive answer, I'll assume no one is aware of them
Thor movie currently. Some Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stuff will be sprinkled in, but a lot of that happened after the Avengers - with the exception of a few flashbacks
Yeah, I didn't want to use it if I had an alternate, but it was the cleanest excuse I could think of. By cleanest, I mean the one with the least amount of possible plot holes. Say, for example, Mara did say that the memories of getting her power were blurry, that wouldn't explain why there's no record of her in any database or the fact that some of her knowledge might not line-up with the MCU. An argument could be made by S.H.I.E.L.D. that someone wiped her records around the time she got her powers, but that pretty much locks in the suspicion that she's from another organisation rather than leave it open and make her seem less suspicious - considering Fury's knowledge of aliens due to the whole Captain Marvel stuff and Thor's appearance in a few weeks time. I also flirted with the idea of having her appear at various events, help out, and then leave without saying anything so that she builds up a reputation for helping S.H.I.E.L.D. so when she does finally speak to them, they're more accepting of her and don't ask as many questions. But I felt like that would cut into things too far, and I'd have to do introductions during story beats rather than before the action, if that makes sense. Hope that explains a bit of what I was thinking about when I resorted to fake memory loss. At the time, if I could have thought up an alternate, I would have gone with the other option, but fake memory loss was the best fit. ❤️
Thank you ❤️ I was meant to put a comment stating what it meant, but I got distracted gaming
Yeah, it is. But even without the Hydra agents, the actual S.H.I.E.L.D. higher-ups have done various questionable deeds, which is why Mara doesn't just blame the Hydra infiltrators for them
Who knows
Although you're right, as far as I'm aware, none of the Symbiotes in any Marvel movies ever explain that their weakness to sound and fire come from their species' creation, right? From their point of view, I think it would be reasonable to assume that they themselves don't know the exact reason as to why they suffer from the noise or heat. As such, going off the limited information gathered from the Symbiotes before it, El wouldn't be wrong to assume that it was just a weakness of its species. Even when it is trauma, the ability to regulate sound means that it is under the impression that the sound can't hurt it and thus has overcome the trauma in a sense. The best way I can think of it is like having a trauma of the dark, but being given night vision goggles. The cause of the trauma is still there, but since the perception is that it isn't, then the individual doesn't suffer from it. That's kind of what I'm going for anyway, if that makes sense? ❤️
Much appreciated, I'll change that now ❤
Yup, Coulson confiscated Jane's research while they were on the flight to New Mexico.
Nah, it's completely understandable, dw ❤️
Mara is a transmigrator that knows all about the MCU, but is pretending to know nothing. Her handler, May, is an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. character and knows nothing about the future of the MCU ❤
MCU and anything that ties into them. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Inhumans in that and some of the One-Shots. I'm still undecided on the Inhumans TV show stuff, but I've got a decent chunk of stuff to get through before I have to make a decision on them. I may also include some X-Men/Mutant stuff later as well to see how fun it could be. But, for now, nothing other than MCU and A.o.S.
Changed them for the multi-whips. I tried to think of it like due to the time constraints Vanko would have had, him creating multi-whips and rigging the drones would have taken too long so he had to do 1 or the other. With the ending as well, Vanko wouldn't have time to activate the bombs before he died so unless he also rigged up a dead man's switch, which would have further stretched his time constraints, they felt a bit unnecessary
They did, but they'd have to touch him in order to use the ability. From what I can remember of was shown in the Venom: Let There Be Carnage movie, the technopathy wasn't very advanced either. It could bypass immobilisers in vehicles and start them, but hacking into things wasn't within the scope of its abilities. I might expand on the ability further down the line, but instead of taking however long it would take to hack into the suit, it was easier for the duo just to rip Vanko's head off.
Agreed, will edit it. Thank you kindly for the suggestion ❤
Much appreciated, I'll correct it now ❤
