Roshi’s rlly old, but he’s still stupid strong, even though his physique looks sorta trashed by age. I’m pretty sure that his buff form is basically just him flexing his muscles that he usually keeps relaxed in order to save energy. He’s not actually using a form per se, just temporarily discarding the effects of his old age via sheer Roshi Power. In fact, you could say that it’s similar to the muscle form OG Trunks tries against Cell, and Roshi’s usual form is similar to Frieza’s power-saving transformations in a way, though both are loose comparisons at best. Nobody else needs to do that sorta thing thou. Least that’s my take on it.

Look, it’s undeniable fact that humans are weak in the dragon ball universe. Or maybe Saiyans and Piccolo are just strong? But Krillin still shows undeniable growth throughout the series, a consistent help even if he gives up too easily. Then there’s Tien, who spends so much time training off on his own that he misses some of the main events, but shows off more crazy techniques than even Roshi. Meanwhile, the only time Yamcha grows at all is when he’s being trained by Roshi, and the last new technique he ever uses is the Spirit Ball. Even in Super, never learned any energy techniques beyond the Kamehameha, flight, and the Spirit ball, it’s sad. So I don’t hate him, so much as he’s utterly useless, and I believe that I’m portraying him accurately. If I believed he was capable of real growth, then I would’ve showed him growing.

She and Bardock didn’t talk much, so there’s not much to be said about their meeting. It’ll prolly get referenced later, but the whole point of it was so that Bardock would recognize her if and/or when I decide to resurrect him in the future.

She can’t just get rid of the girl, and Noah’s soul is the same as hers, anyone who met both of them would instantly figure out her secret, so she can only either drop the girl off at some random point in the far-off future, or put her up in the Core. She wants Noah to become her ally willingly. Someone trustworthy, with a soul that strong would be rlly useful as an ally.

Ya, but she doesn’t see that. The way she sees it, everything that happens outside of canon is her fault. Essentially, she believes that everything would work out perfectly if she wasn’t there, and nothing she does can make amends for that. It’s not a good mindset at all. She wanted to create the canon timeline to gather certain firsthand data in order to prevent certain differences that will happen in the future of her version of reality.

Basically, she just ages her baby self up and argues with her. It’s a clash between the values she had when she originally entered the Dragon Ball Universe and her current values, and they’re both far too stubborn to back off. Hanna wants Noah to understand her point of view, but Noah doesn’t want to acknowledge that Hanna might have a point because that point is too stupid and painful to acknowledge.

I looked it up. I was wrong, Ox King can’t even Kamehameha at all, much less use magic. Chichi never uses ki in any form or fashion either, as a matter of fact, despite living with training-obsessed Saiyans for so many decades. They’re just both stupid strong physically. Like, STUPID strong, but no magic and no ki techniques. Gohan’s unique form that he attains in Super Hero prolly has its roots in the potential unleashing that the Elder Kai did for him. All his other transformations were copyable. Theoretically, doing the full potential unleashing ritual might’ve brought out some attribute similar to a divine aspect, which combined with whatever crazy gene he got that made his potential so much higher than anyone else’s to create some unique Potential Pseudo-God mode (which doesn’t actually mean that his ki became divine in nature). Doesnt rlly change the fact that Goten and Trunks had the exact same potential and growth rate thou, give or take, proving that whatever Gohan got, Goten didn’t get more than the normal half-Saiyan amount of, despite sharing the same ancestry.

Even though I could tap into my ki, and I had a lot of it due to me being half-saiyan, my hidden potential was leagues behind Gohan's.. Even surging my energy as hard as I could didn't impress dad(Goku) at all, at least at first.

The Ox King could barely Kamehameha. He definitely can’t use magic. He did pass down insane basic physical strength to Chichi, but still within the realm of human. Example: Goten had impressive natural talent, but his strength levels always stayed more or less stable, and he never breaks Ssj2, despite being strong enough that Gotenks is capable of comfortably breaking 3, meaning that both halves’ve gotta be pretty close to the upper ends of Ssj both strength and mastery-wise. Gohan’s weird mystic powers came from some one-in-a-million gene combination between Goku’s Saiyan genes and Chichi’s top-of-the-line human ones. If Goten and Trunks didn’t get it, then I figure Hanna’s guaranteed natural talent beyond that of normal , pureblood Saiyans, but not Gohan’s weird levels of it. For all we know, Gohan’s abilities are from the same thing as Broly’s, and Kale’s (LSSJ), just diluted by his human half, i don’t know and it doesn’t rlly matter. His weirdly tranquil personality prolly has something to do with it, too.

Stupid hard to do, thou, since it requires fusing your own energy to the ‘soul’ of the plant to direct its growth.

I had five tries, and from what I understood, cultivating Senzu beans probably only took three or four months at the most, so if I experimented, I was hoping that I wouldn't need any magic soil or special water to get them to grow.

The real ones are filled with divine power, so they need a medium to get it. She’s using her own energy as a sort-of replacement, something nobody else ever bothered to try. It’s a watered-down Senzu, but it retains enough healing properties to fulfill her needs.

It’s easier for me when I start a story. The key is to connect the future that you want with the present that you’ve already got. The more you understand your character and the situation they’re in, the easier it gets to do so, because you already know how they’ll react. That’s why, for me and this story at least, the hardest part is finding time to sit down and type it up, because the characters are writing it themselves to an extent.

Vegeta and Goku learned the form in the weird place that Whis sent them to, where they needed to keep their energy inside but maxed out in order to move. God ki is just a higher form of ki mastery that’s stupid hard to unlock. Jiren had something similar, after all, just from training on his own with stupid intensity. He could sense Goku’s god ki AND match it in purity. Or at least power and density. There are crutch god forms, sure, but they don’t have much to do with actual god ki unless your body learns from them to unlock higher levels of ki mastery like Goku did.

My training had come quite a ways, as well. I'd actually somehow skipped Super Saiyan 3 and blown straight through to Super Saiyan Blue instead, due to my radical emphasis on control. Apparently, Super Saiyan 4 either really wasn't a thing, or it was just beyond divine power, which I doubted.

Thx for the feedback man, but remember, Hanna's strong enough to EQUAL Grand Zeno himself. In other words, if the other gods were to take action against her, they'd basically be gambling everything in existence, because that's how destructive the clash of powers would be. If she were to stop hiding her powers, she'd literally be unstoppable, and all plotlines would be Tree Of Might-ed (See Chapter 43, Tree of Might). The only way that the other gods would dare to interfere with her in any meaningful way would be if she decided to randomly destroy the entirety of... say, Universes 1-6 or so. Just randomly slaughtering Frieza, the Androids, Cell, Buu, and even Beerus himself wouldn't be a problem at all if she were to decide she wanted to do so. Whis would object were she to randomly kill Beerus, but that'd be all that would happen in the end (other than Kai-Shin having a dance party over Buu's disappearance). Right now, the story's still pretty new, they haven't even broken past the Namek arc yet. A big part of the story's development will always center around Hanna and her personal character development (which hasn't gone through too much yet, but will), but I also wanted to expand on the other characters that are changed through her actions. A lot of them are basically totally new characters that were gone, dead, or just didn't exist during the original plotline, after all, and their mere existence changes quite a bit surrounding not only the main plot, but also everything that happens in between the main arcs (Which we haven't gotten to yet). So long as Hanna doesn't trust herself or anything else, she's going to look for stability in the canon events, which means hiding her powers and ensuring that Goku, at the very least, becomes as strong as he was during the original plot. That's going to stay the main conflict, at least for quite a while. Sorry to disappoint.

Raditz is in a unique situation here. He cares about Goku, and believes that killing is wrong, but he understands Vegeta too, having served under him for so long. He’s trying to act as a bridge of sorts between Vegeta and the other Z-fighters, despite the sacrifices that he has to make to accomplish it. He understands both sides, and he’s trying to bring them both together.
