He said he wanted to kill the crown prince in the heat of the moment and because he thought the crown prince should be evil. But it soon turned out crown prince was one of the few nice guys in the whole imperial family and he was also being played with in his entire life. Why should MC still want to kill him?! How is that even related to MC being naive? If you are looking for a novel that 'bad guys remain bad guys till the end no matter what' you're in the wrong place then.
I'm not into novels with evil protagonists and would not have even bothered starting this novel had I known MC is evil. If you're fine with it then I think you would like this novel and I do recommend it. Although, also note that the grammar is HORRIBLE, probably as bad -if not worse- than an MTL novel. As someone who does care about grammar, reading even 2 chapters in a row without being constantly tortured by the grammar wasn't possible for me. Anyway, I think an editor (and/or Grammarly) would make this novel 100x better for readers who actually care about grammar like me.
Same lol. Idk why I'm so out of luck lately, any novel I pick up turns out to have a grammar issue as bad as this one. Would it kill these authors to at least use some Grammarly? In the first place, how could someone mix up the grammar tenses so badly when their vocabulary seems fine.? To make it worse, even the story wasn't good for me. I guess not many here agree but I can't really connect to stories with evil MC.
Jeez... "don't want to think much"??? If you actually "think much" you can easily see author has clearly stated "inner world" (the space she can't use rn) and "consciousness" are different. This is also a direct quotation from chapter 34 (that some readers somehow missed) "Besides the level-12 ferule that she stored in here, her conscious used to be empty and had only a few strands of incredibly pitiful milk-colored mystic conscious that floated everywhere inside like a specter. However, what in the world was going on with the new addition of the 12 rolled up jade slips?" See? She only has her ferule and the 12 talisman jade slips in her consciousness.
Though I don't necessarily hate him. He's captured and obviously won't have a good fate if these people reach their destination. So he might as well do anything in his means to get even a small chance of escape
16 - 9 = 7 ...
no, she clearly said she's 7...
