Ace's face reddened slightly when Luna touched his hand, but Luna's attention was focused on me. I watched as something that started as pure encouragement slow twist into a sort of expectation and personal agendas. Yeah, this group is cooked. We broke hands when the priest called the first of ace. - Sokomon3mthCommentedI closed my tab and looked out the window. The town lights shone in the distance. I shrugged as I laid back down. I guess I can wait until tomorrow to start training. After all, I did have this body's memories, as well as the knowledge of the game. If I trained hard for the next month, maybe I would be able to get those three stats to go up by half a point. Anyway, that was tomorrow's problem.

She bowed as usual, but something was off. When we made eye contact, she blushed. The kiss! It was kinda on a whim, but then again from her perspective, it must've been more. The cold and prideful noble kissing his maid's hand? Even if I'm engaged, she could become a concubine and her family would be set for life. I wanted to shoot myself. I said such a cringy line because I panicked for a moment. What a pain. Luna seemed happy, at least, so I guess it wasn't a terrible interaction. I sighed as I looked at them. Knowing the possible future, I couldn't help but be angry, but seeing them now, I can't judge them for it. Not yet at least. Come think of it, this game actually had a more developed story and character interaction… well apart from all of the sex scenes. Mid-game, the villain would have killed Luna, and her final words would have actually been an apology. She regretted the night of passion with Ace and how she hurt the villain. With her final strength, she kissed the villain. This only sent him into further descent into madness, but it was tear tear-jerking scene. This was definitely a gray area I wanted to avoid. It was also possible that she lied just to mess with the villain's mental fortitude. - Sokomon3mthCommented
Well, A man can be mad for many unknown reasons!
Part of the reason for her unfaithful act of passion was because the hero, Ace, would be supporting her emotionally while the villain was too dense to pick up on social cues. That and Ace would solve a major family problem for Luna. I also can't be mad at something that didn't happen yet, but knowing it could, left a bad taste in my mouth. - Sokomon3mthCommentedMy eyes opened only to see an unfamiliar ceiling. I sighed to myself as I sat up. My room was spacious, but a mess. I walked to my dresser and looked at my appearance. I saw a face that I knew all too well. I had black and white hair with purple eyes, and I was handsome if I said so myself. The game's antagonist. I wouldn't say villain since it's not completely his fault for turning into a villain, but he was still a general douche.

It had a terrible story and an even worse soundtrack, and its only redeeming quality was the romance. Even then, it got repetitive and gross! It was obvious that the devs only wanted to portray their wildest dreams and revenge stories. Some of the scenes I skipped because of how awful it was. As a self-proclaimed pro, all gamers knew you don't skip scenes. That just showed how bad it was. I metaphorically sighed. No use in com… wait, suddenly I was sitting in front of an old guy. Its's way too realistic. The author killed him in 10 seconds of his start.
I'm not sure what happened. My point of view suddenly shifted to the sky. I faintly heard screaming before… black. An abyss of nothingness. Maybe I was dreaming… or was I dead? Regardless, I accepted my fate since there wasn't much I could do. I thought about my life. I never accomplished anything really, but I was satisfied with my life. I had a loving family and good friends, and college wasn't so bad. Oddly enough, some things I worried about before didn't seem to matter. I just wished I didn't spend my final night on Earth playing that awful RPG!
