Even if rather uncomfortable it was not worth the hassle that came with dropping pretenses the first chance I got. After dropping a thousand poke on food I made my way out the opposite side of the town and released my pokemon immediately. Gaia wasted no time at all leaving thick furrows in the road while Vulcan melted it from pure fire type energy. "You will stay here with my partner while I go get back up to check out this warehouse of yours." she said and I merely sat down on the ground cross legged. I tossed the now useless piece of cloth into it without hesitation while grabbing the pokeball holster and hooking it up to my expert belt on my right hip. I then fished out both Gaia and Vulcans balls from my bag and stuck them to the holster. Birch looked at the black and white ball that belonged to Gaia curiously once he saw it. "Where'd you get that ball from Alex?" he asked clearly interested in it. "I bought it from a street vender since it looked cool and I wanted my starter to have a nice ball." There was also another clan that had a similar thing going on for them except they all had great affinity for justice somehow. This was the Jenny clan and just like the Joy clan they were apparently a massive clan with members nearly all over the globe. I also looked up information on trainers with legendary or pseudo-legendary pokemon and sighed in relief at what I found. It wasn't common for someone like me to pop up but it also wasn't unheard of as well. An example was that a man named John who made friends with a Latios in disguise that chose to join his team before he even caught a single pokemon. What I learned stunned and confused me greatly all things considered. See according to this new information aura was the sort of vital force/spiritual energy of a living thing. It was esoteric as fuck to say the least but apparently with the right mindset , training and techniques it was possible for literally any living thing to tap into and manipulate their aura. The aura skill I just got was basically a training guide to mastering this energy which gives some frankly broken abilities in my opinion. For example if you have enough aura and skill it's possible for a human like me to directly fight a pokemon , moves and all.- - Naruto_Uzumaki_74710dCommentedObviously I was aware that I wasn't likely to randomly discover actually valuable stuff like a legendary fossil but I could hope damnit. Once back at the cave we currently lived in I had to collect some more dry sticks and pine needles for the fire. I even had Gaia bust up a nearby fallen tree into small logs and stored them near the back of the cave to dry out in the heat of the fire. While I was at it I also collected some pine sap crystals to make a torch because unlike how they were shown in the game most caves were dark as hell.-

Surprisingly I didn't feel all that bad about it which was unexpected. 'Yeah , might need to work on this apathy towards death before I get Gaia involved in actual trainer battles lest she kill all her opponents.' I thought seriously.-
