Midoriya really gulping that Copium...
... Overpowered.
"Throughout Heaven and Earth... I Alone Am The Honored One."
I also recommend his works. They are a favourite of mine, and an absolute joy to see whenever I notice an update.
For the sake of things, they are aged up to be the same age as the protagonist. Of course he doesn't know that yet, but he also doesn't remember much about Zexal, so he's just assuming that they'll be attending the school.
I was going to, but then I looked it up and... Surprisingly, Yugi is a unisex name, and Seto is ALREADY a feminine name, so I saw no need to change the names.
That was the idea :P This card is based on an Aztec God who fought with Quetzalcoatl to become the Sun. With every God that overthrew them as the son, they would consistently return and become the Sun again (the Aztec Gods had a big thing for wanting to be the Sun.) Hence, this effect felt fitting.
I show all created cards at the bottom.
I replied to this in a comment, but I'll reply to it here too. What I think people quickly forget in Isekai stories is that some people seem to just go to confident real quick. THat's not the case here, this guy is anti-social with social anxiety. He hides it behind a facade of confidence and calm, but inside he's freaking out. He's hiding his wings and halo because he doesn't like being stared at, it makes him uncomfortable, paranoid, nervous, etc. He just doesn't vocalise it because he feels it makes him weak. Also it would just be a pain to have wings in everyday life if you're not used to it, you'd constantly knock over things until you got used to it. In addition, this IS a multiverse story, so- even if he doesn't know he'll be travelling the multiverse yet- being proactive and learning how to hide his wings and halo will help in the long run.
Yeaaa booiiiiii
