That's a possibility that definitely can't be discarded, maybe some sort of interaction needs to happen so the digedtion proceeds, like how he couldn't do hid Apotheosis Ritual inside Sefirah Castle because he needed the interaction with fate/history for the ritual's completion. Alternatively, if I remember right, only as an Angel does the Characteristics truly fuse with your soul, at least for the Fool Pathway. That could be the reason, like, what entered Sefirah Castle was his soul, not his body and, while his soul receives powers, the Characteristics are in the body, so he couldn't digest inside the Castle since his soul and body were separated, while, as a Miracle Invoker, his Characteristics had fully merged with the soul, allowing him to feel the digestion without needing to be outside. Maybe he could digest while in a Spirit Body form outside because, while the soul was outside the body, there wasn't anything isolating them (like Sefirah Castle). ORRRR it could be something completely different and we're going crazy!
That's true, isn't it? Like, acting kind of started being less of a focus in the later parts, like, all of the Sequences of Klein had at least 3 acting principles, but Attendant of Mysteries had only one (albeit quite vague). I remember Klein, before advancimg into sequence 2, couldn't feel the digestion (or the feedback) from inside Sefirah Castle, but I'm not sure if it's because he didn't transport his full soul there, if he didn't "digest" until going back to the real world, or if the Castle blocked the process itself. Though he did feel the feedback in the Forsaken Land of the Gods, despite its isolating properties, though history from Scholar of Yore is closely connected to Sefirah Castle, whic is a sefirah. I guess Klein didn't need to digest the potions in weird situations like a dream, but even then, yes, it's quite a blurry topic :')
Btw, thinking about it, it could be because he didn't truly understand the acting principles of a Provoker, but if I remember right, Lumian didn't feel (or said he felt) the Provoker potion digesting despite severely provoking Pons Benét and Pierre. This could possibly show the dream doesn't give feedback.
She talked about the corresponding medium, which is used to more accurately point to her.
In a literal, but also figurative way, Lumian is trapped in the worst day of his life.
He may also be able to give a boon that corresponds to the power of Miracle Invoker for her to come back. Now, about the side effects, well, yeah.
Yes, it could be some understanding of the Celestial. But it likely also means that other beings with similar authorities could answer.
Also, remember that The Church of the Fool claims that "The Fool is in the past, present and future"
He's sleeping, but can still project some of his power outwards. Also, uh, not to be pessimistic but let's remember it could be, you know, the other guy in Klein's body looking at Lumian.
Hope is a strong word, but maybe!
Apparently, no, what he thought was the dreamscape was reality. About digesting within the dream, well, I have two hypothesis: 1. It's because it's not a simple dream, but a kind of dreamworld which reunites more than just his mind, probably integrated by the power of the Circle of Inevitability. 2. To be fair, why not? Like, the important part of digestion is making your mind and spirit closer to the imprint on the Characteristic, what does it matter if it's a dream or not as long as you act? If it was the Fool Pathway that needs feedback, maybe it would be a problem, but I believe that, as long as the dream is somewhat real, it's fine, like how Adam could even 'Envision' an audience. BUT, if you look closely, it seems Lumian mainly acted as a hunter in the "dream", which was, actually, reality. Hope it helped :')
To be fair with you, it making sense doesn't mean I'm right. We had very little about the relationship of the Oldest One and digestion in the first book. So, you can very well be right and I'm just reading more than there is. As long as it doesn't stop us from understanding and having fun, it's fine.
Also thought so at first, but according to some author notes, yes, apparently it does. To begin with, the purpose of digestion is to reduce the inclination to madness. To beyonders below the demigods, the mental imprint of previous owners can be more dangerous than the corruption of the Oldest One, but bear with me, you act to better "fool" the mental imprint to wear it down and assimilate. But what is the original mental imprint? I could be wrong, though.
