    Would be nice, huh

Still, Ourin never once let go of his knight training. The reason was pretty simple as it still increased his attributes, and by extension, his longetivity as he believed vitality and lifespan was correlated. Back on Earth, he had read that many cardiovascular diseases could be avoided with regular exercise, and knight training was basically an advanced form of training that could push his body beyond the limits of what regular humans could reach. He still had no idea about his future talent in magic would be, so in case he had no talent whatsoever, he could always return to the Ironguard Barony, and live a happy fullfilling life as a local knightly lord.

The acolytes who are overseeing the carriages are acolytes. They are even level 3 acolytes

The acolytes were smart fellows. They had ordered the black-robed knights to target the wolf king. Once he fell, then the dire wolves would scatter. This was using the motto: "Offense is the best defense" to the next level. This way, the global amount of casualties would lessen. However, this also meant that casualties would happen.

That way, he can keep his magic crystals and get a head start.

Leylin, his biggest obstacle in his path for growth, was no longer of this world, and his broken magical artefact was the key to enter the magical academy of his choice. Although walking the same steps as Leylin was tempting, Ourin knew that he should pick the academy that suited his affinity the best. In order to become a magus, he would have to step onto the unknown at some point anyway.

You are right. I will only use biochip from now on. Sorry, I did not think it would break the immersion ^^'

On their carriage, Ourin looked at his personal crossbow and the piercing bolts he had made from branches and steel heads. His crossbow was very strong, and the requirement to draw the crossbow was roughly 80 pounds, meaning that anyone with less than two points of strength based on his biochip's evaluation standards, would fail to use it.

Well after reading the book, I just assumed that Secret Knight Techniques → Increase stats in some ways (like strength, agility or vitality) Knight Killing Techniques → Involve martial art like swordsmanship (Arclight Chop of the viscount of Everlasting City and stuff like that)

Knowing that reloading would take too much time, Ourin picked up the shield and cross sword he had put on his back and unsheathed his blade. Moving forward, he leaped onto the front and used his favourite knight killing technique [Perfect Defense], successfully blocking the charge of two out direwolves.

I always pictured them like that

She shared her findings with the group: "Our faction is currently in the third carriage, and we are likely the most united among them all. The crossbows we managed to secure in our last town stop also makes us the strongest ones in terms of pure equipment. Each carriage is guarded by five black-robed knights, while the white-robed acolytes seem uninterested in engaging in battles. The first carriage belongs to the [Work Alliance], and the second and fourth carriages belong to the [Furze Alliance]. However, the Furze Alliance is less cohesive and there are internal conflicts, mainly youths disappointed by George's leadership"

Hello ! This is the story of Ourin reincarnating in the Magus world from Warlock of the Magus World. Be aware that it is a bit different from canon. For one, the MC will not become a warlock (you will quickly understand why he does not walk the same path as Leylin). He possesses a minor cheat, but it is nothing like Leylin's biochip, which basically becomes him. He can't analyse and improve things like that, or become an alchemy genius overnight. This will be a slow-paced story, with the MC walking his path at his rythm. MC is not a genius, but he is a true schemer that creates his own opportunities, instead of waiting for luck to befall him. Evil sometimes, righteous when it benefits him, the new Ourin is the epitome of pragmatism. Please support me at https://www.patreon.com/Dark_Magus for more chapters!

Just because Leylin survived doesn't mean that Ourin will survive. Why? because Leylin basically had a cheat that allowed him to bypass difficulties. This is not the case of Ourin, whose biochip can't analyse data. This means that Ourin's growth rate will be much lower. This is a slow-paced story !

Leylin, his biggest obstacle in his path for growth, was no longer of this world, and his broken magical artefact was the key to enter the magical academy of his choice. Although walking the same steps as Leylin was tempting, Ourin knew that he should pick the academy that suited his affinity the best. Family, for one, I suppose ?

The Gu Yue clan head was disappointed to learn that Fang Yuan was only a C grade talent, and Mo Bei left to focus on surviving himself. After spending the day reading Legends of Ren Zu, Mo Bei realized that there was hope for him to return home, and he became determined to become stronger and find a way back to Earth. He was already a Rank 1 Initial stage Gu Master and believed that his road to cultivation had just begun.

I would not say handsome. I would just say very masculine ^^

Suddenly, he realized where he was and looked at himself in the mirror. He had the appearance of a horse-faced boy and was tall and dressed in linen robes. He was in the world of "Reverend Insanity," and he had somehow transmigrated there from Earth.
