I disagree with you ,the introspection helps the readers to understand and relate to the characters in the novel, I don't like reading stuff that just jump straight into the action,I need to know what's going on in the character's head , if I didn't want introspection I'd be watching a movie instead of reading a book .....The introspection is very much necessary .

this is a great book ,I don't know about others cos it's obvious that different people like different styles of writing .... if you're looking for a good novel with great character development that isn't rushed with the mc not having every good thing of life directly handed into his arms, then this book is for u. if you want a novel with action ,a sprinkle of romance and life's slice of disappointments then this is a book for u..... I love all of JKS books ,he's one of my best authors , ignore the negative review and give this book a try🥰 u won't regret it .......
