I will use CW at the beginning of chapter for future hints NTR — who likely to be between 2 MCs, Alina and Hobe. In this realm, they select VI partners whom they trust won't inflict harm, recognizing the vulnerability to data theft and bar ability despite the potential gains from VI interactions. Moreover, they refrain from forming genuine relationships such as friendships, love, and familial bonds due to the harsh apocalyptic conditions, until ML intervenes in their lives, reminding them that they are still human, albeit partially mechanical.
