It's a good premise, but the writing is so off... It looks like everything the author writes is on a whim, full of plot holes and nonsensical developments.All of this author's works are like that,it starts really well but a few chaps in and it becomes cringe.I hope you are able to improve your writhing cuz u have ideas.

I have never been more disappointed, this novel was one of the best I have ever read, but this ending was so illogical and stupid that i had to take a break from reading any books... I cannot comprehend how the author decided to literally kill off the main character and introduce some goody two shoes that we haven't seen in 700 chapters... We don't care about Alex, he died long time ago, or so I wish,I will not be reading your next novel,of fear that you are gonna mess it up as well

It's one of the best novels I have ever read, I love how Shang develops and what he goes thru when making decisions I especially love how he turned out to be at the latest chapters, the only thing that is lacking is the world building. I wonder what it is like when Shang was not yet in the Temple of Blood,I also wonder what is it like in the other empires, and so on. That's why I give this novel 4.8 and not 5. Thank you for writing this novel!

the god wants him to become powerful enough to entertain him, the best entertainment for him is the fear that he might die, so he tries to build Shang's character in a way that is most suited for power, so that Shang may get a chance to kill him.

if there is no harem tag on a story and I start reading it, then out of nowhere a harem forms, be sure that I'm about to spam a 1 star review from 5 acc

yes, for now but the satisfaction when I finish it will not be as big. I still believe that the author is going to develop his character, judging by his previous novel.

thats the whole deal for the mc its not that we think like that , he does so in his mind its logical to let them die so he can become more powerful

I'm so sad.This has great potential, it could have been such a good read,but everything comes too easy to the mc, I always hate the novel where mc is such a genius, that even the best ppl to have ever existed before him cant compare, even if that's the case make him struggle a bit he is 21 y/o battling ppl who are 4000 y/o or is smarter than them, or has lived thru more than them, which is just lazy writing, the author should read SGWM and steal some of the MC's character progression and power progression, its done much better, all in all I'm disappointed ... (read up to 1158ch)
