Surprised. Yeah, me too. I didn't think I'd do that. Anyhow, here you go.
It's been technically hinted several times in the story, when something was mentioned about his past, but during 2007 to 2009, he was indirectly in charge of his family's conglomerate's affair's, cause the finance crisis happened directly a month afterwards when his 'family died'. Around that time, he slowly gained his skillset about his manipulation abilities. As for the other thing, he's naturally very gifted, since birth. As Arisu mentions, a "genius" or how Atsuomi says, "a prodigy." The way he absorbs knowledge is different than other people. Of course, things like observation and all come from somewhere else, but he's someone who studied very much, since he's not very trusting and did not want anyone to ruin his parent's legacy. There are some psychological aspects mentioned, like in Chapter 45, or theoretical stuff regarding the engineering stuff, which was especially mentioned in the Chairman Sakayanagi Chapter. Hopefully, these things were so far okay. I was wondering often whether to include that or not, since it's not common for the high schooler's, but well, I don't dislike writing it, so I include these kinds of things. Although the latter chapters now should become slightly more philosophical. They'll probably contain things from Dante Alighieri, Nietzsche, Plato, Socrates, Søren Kierkegaard, though, I've no plan, still. Anyhow, I hope these things that I incorporated so far were not boring with the engineering stuff or the other stuff.
He's more of a long-term planner, usually. The plan with Ayanokoji was something he formed just a prior day ago when he heard about Chairman Sakayanagi still being alive. He deduced based on what happened so far, the events with Ryūen, what Ayanokoji would do, contact Chabashira and Manabu, and where precisely they'd be, and appeared He is confident in himself, so he never doubted initially that he could be in slight trouble, to a bit. The normal cautious Kurushima would have never done such a risky plan, but the situation changed. The unknown variable was Chairman Sakayanagi's condition on which he had no control of. He had to act fast and used this as his chance. And while he's at it, he'd let his two opponents destroy each other, outside. His plans are usually more on the complex side, but his situation was different, so he had to act fast. In the end, it'd have done the purpose, too. But well... he got demolished in the fight, which was the price of his overconfidence.
Well, Kurushima has always been someone very overconfident in his abilities, which did not change now, either. He was under the impression that he could easily beat him with restricting himself, using two martial arts, because of what he wanted to achieve, making Ayanokoji's Father and Kanzaki's Family to fight against each other. After all, he's suspecting why Ayanokoji is here in this school and knows also that it'd probably greatly infuriate his father if Ayanokoji was to get expelled. But well, now... he lost because of himself holding back and not using everything he had to his availd.
He was overconfident of defeating Ayanokoji easily, better said, even if he used only two martial arts. Kurushima's intention was to expel Ayanokoji, making him believe he's Kanzaki, and make Ayanokoji's Father and Kanzaki's Family to fight against each other, since Kanzaki 'interrupted' with Atsuomi's plans. The reason he uses 2 martial arts is essentially because Kanzaki only practices two and has black belts for them. But well, his plan failed. Ayanokoji does say that his kick of speed and strenght was stronger than this, though.
Well, Kurushima likes to stay hidden. The reason he's not getting suspected is because of what he did in the Island Exam, hiding his GPS Signal of the Wristwatch and making Ayanokoji believe the person who interrupted with him is in Ichinose's Class. And poor Kanzaki got in the focus of Ayanokoji now. The future will be quite interesting
Kurushima was never really suspected, to begin with, of being Y. Because Chabashira did confirm towards Ayanokoji basically that no one from any of the three classes moved during the Island Exam towards Ichinose's class. So he naturally suspects Ichinose's class. Kanzaki is the scapegoat he decided to use. In the end, he wanted to expel Ayanokoji, let him under the belief it was Kanzaki, bring Ayanokoji's Father and Kanzaki's Family to fight against each other because of what he did. But well, his plan failed. He was overconfident, which lead towards his loss in this battle, kinda.
Kurushima knew he wouldn't stand a chance in a fight, so he had to do some quick thinking. In the end, not everything goes as he planned, but well, he also just used two martial arts, framing this person to be Kanzaki. Kanzaki is constantly taking the L's.
Do you perhaps mean ingenious...? Cause igneous refers to rocks formed by the solidification of magma or lava, as far as I'm aware of.
I'll try. Hopefully, I can nail the Images of them.
Imagine him being in Class C, and then getting slammed his head on by Ryūen or getting dissed by him. It'd be probably so hilarious with him there.
The girl in my profile picture, lol.
I didn't explain the thing about the hidden message. It was something the readers should have figured out at that time and in the progress of the story, so now, it would have been shown. Like with the Anagrams, these are things I'm openly not explaining, till a certain chapter. Instead of "it," I should have written if you reverse the "letters." My mistake here. If you do that, for Z – A appears, until the message reads: Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is the one you are searching for. It's known also as Atbash Cipher.
Dunno, not really.
