indeed my good fellow, power is only used to find out the correct fuse in terms of electrical appliances 0-650w = 3A (like a lamp) 650-1000 5A (the rise and recline chairs u get) 1000+ = 13A (most kitchen appliances eg kettle, toaster ect)
