I had the same thought, but it was bound to happen. Just look at the title, even the hints in the first chapter. His goals matched perfectly with the Gomu no Mi. Doflamingo is a manipulator, and he has the String Fruit, which aligns with his personality. In the manga, it's stated that a Devil Fruit chooses its user, not the other way around. I understand how you feel, another regular wanna be luffy fan fic. But I promise to you that's not gonna be the case.

I agree, but Hana, in combination with different fruits, could be op. I mean, Hana x Hobi is ridiculously op, or Hana x Ope, creating several different rooms at the same time using clones, much like Madara in a sense.
