well you are true and at that time i didnt think much about that part as put it up as quirk awakening so i needed a reason to izuku to go to doc and spoiler. . . . . . . . . . ........................................................ ........ its as you said when izuku is 0 mass he is mostly energy and which is why in 0 mass izuku cant walk if he does its death for him as when he increase his mass the momentum will kill him and another point when izuku is 0 mass and is energy mostly raw energy made by the quirk so its hard to transforms into other energy but a big enough stimuli will do it and make izuku lose a part of his body

As he prepared himself, he thought, "Since this is a simple dash race, I should be able to handle it. Hopefully, it doesn't involve any complicated maneuvers." He focused, increasing his mass to build up momentum. With a burst of energy, he sprinted forward. However, as he reached the midpoint, he noticed his speed decreasing. Determined, he came to a stop and then dashed forward again, managing to complete the dash in just 5 seconds."Wow," Deku thought, "my quirk is truly incredible, but it lacks speed. Being as heavy as a building definitely has its drawbacks. I need to work on improving that aspect." He walked away from the testing area, his mind already strategizing about how to address this weakness.Moving on to the great strength test, Deku faced the challenge head-on. Increasing his mass once more, he pulled his hand back, channeling a tremendous amount of force into the machine before him. The machine strained against the pressure, and with a sharp sound, it finally broke, succumbing to Deku's enhanced strength.Deku couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment, but he also recognized the areas where he needed improvement.
