I didn’t read the “pokemon manga” because it’s apparently just the manga of the anime but “pokemon adventures” and while it’s not dark it’s definitely more mature (about yugioh levels) then the anime and games with characters actually being aging and being romantically involved and just like the games you get new protagonist’s every new generation but the old ones come back and referenced not to much that they steal the spotlight but enough that your always happy to see them though I will warn you the shipping wars I have seen get pretty intense. Overall I really enjoyed it and it’s definitely worth the read.

You’re focused on the wrong thing, what he hates is that the mc was literally just dropped in the world and hasn’t even fully checked out his own situation like where he’s gonna live, what’s his job, how he’s gonna train, and other far more important things but immediately made a kill list.
